We welcome you to celebrate with us the evolution of Red Fox Friends - a wilderness school that has emerged from a period of reflection with a new mission and a new name, WILD EARTH! Please join us as we bring forward what has been met with positive feedback while learning from and leaving behind what has not.
As we say goodbye to the name Red Fox Friends we would like to thank everyone involved for your pioneering spirit and support over the past four years. A wilderness school that continues to grow and evolve based on the needs of the community it serves cannot be successful without all of you. Together we will make WILD EARTH an organization filled with opportunities for all.
The Wild Earth Mission: Wild Earth’s mission is to create, offer and support learning experiences in nature that are inspiring, fun, safe and educational.
About Wild Earth: Wild Earth is a not-for-profit nature-based learning organization located in the Shawangunk Ridge region in the Hudson Valley of New York State. Wild Earth is currently managed by community members whose intention is to foster awareness and a deeper connection to the earth. Members of Wild Earth have been involved in wilderness education in the region since 2001.
About Wild Earth Programs: Wild Earth programs draw on teachings offered by native cultures and modern natural sciences. The programs utilize adventure, hands-on use of primitive skills, fun and games, and story and song to create opportunities that explore our natural surroundings while also finding the joy in learning.
